We’ve heard from both parents and educators about the need for better collaboration. Educators submit reading lists and recommendations. Parents can then open a non-confrontational dialogue with their child’s educator about the book material and alternatives if necessary. Additionally, parents can partner with educators for reading resources if their child is struggling in a certain area (i.e. learning engagement, divorce in the family, etc.). This collaboration component positions parents and educators as partners – with the same goal of supporting the child’s reading journey.
